Some That Are Tried and True, That We Will Always Grow and Also some That Are New to Us, That We Look Forward to Trying on the Farm and for You to Try in Your Gardens As Well.

About Our Sale


Cardinal Creek Farm takes an ecologically friendly approach to our seedling sale. We use as little plastic as possible: using soil blocks for things like lettuce, kale, broccoli, and cabbage. And paper pots made from newspaper grade paper for things like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, and summer squash. Which are not only ecologically friendly but also provide the least amount of transplant shock for your new plant babies.

 

We also know that, while gardening is therapeudic and rewarding, it can also be challenging and stressful to plan. Which is why we offer Garden Starter Seedling Kits

Do you want to start a garden but just don't know where to begin? 

Do you have questions that you just can't seem to answer, like 

What should I plant? How many plants can I fit in my space? How

 many of each plant do I need? 

Drawing from our Farming knowlegdge we designed our Garden

 Starter Seeling Kits to take the second guessing out of planning

 your garden. 

Our Kits are customizable: You can choose the varieties you would

 like to grow, or leave those details up to us. 

We will also provide you with a Garden Planning Guide that we will 

email to you mid April to help you prepare your space.


We have created 3 sizes for you to choose from:

 

Garden Starter Seedling Kit-Large:

This kit is great for gardens that are about 10x10 or 75-100 sq ft.

Our Large Garden Kit includes:

6 Tomato Plants (includes: 4 slicers/heirlooms/Paste, 2 cherry)

2 Winter squash (butternut and pumpkin)

2 Summer squash

4 Cucumber (2 field and 2 pickling)

1 Watermelon

How It works


First you Pre-Order your Garden Starter Seedling Kit or the Individual Seedlings that you would like from our shop 

Then you get to work preparing your garden space and gathering supplies. While we get to work growing your seedlings and keeping them healthy. 

Pick up your order 

There will be an option to choose your pick up date when you place your order, any day after May 15th

If you are ordering after May 15th we require that you order 3 days before pick up to give us enough time to prepare your order. 

We will also have addition plants for sale if you would like to add a few more items to your purchase

Now it's time to plant your seedlings!
